     The USS Missouri had an astounding career over five decades and three wars - World War II, the Korean War, and Desert Storm - after which it was decommissioned and donated to the USS Missouri Memorial Association, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The Association operates the Battleship Missouri Memorial as a historic attraction and oversees her care and preservation with the support of visitors, memberships, grants, and donations.

     The Aviator's Tour takes you behind the scenes to the heart of the hangars that housed the aircraft and the heroes of the War in the Pacific. Veteran docents take you on a journey through Hangar 37 and Hangar 79, the Restoration Hangar. Hangar 79 is a battlefield survivor that still bears the scars of the December 7, 1941 attack and features a 1940s Carrier Aircraft Service Unit rebuilt to wartime authenticity. You'll see the restoration of aircraft using WWII tools. And view the aircraft awaiting restoration to join the Museum's exciting collection. B-17E Swamp Ghost Tour The Swamp Ghost Tour gives you an up-close look at what is arguably the world's only intact and unretired World War II B-17E bomber. Knowledgeable docents give you an in-depth look at one of WWII's most iconic bombers, exhibited in its original wreckage state. This tour takes you through all the details that made the B-17 Flying fortress such a mainstay in our country's aerial arsenal.   Remembering Pearl Harbor

     The USS Arizona Memorial (USAR) is built over the remains of the sunken battleship USS Arizona, the final resting place for many of the 1,177 crewmen killed on December 7, 1941 when their ship was bombed by the Japanese Naval Forces. This loss of life represents over half of the Americans killed on this "Day of Infamy", the worst naval disaster in American History.
